Season 1 Of Icelandic Queer Web Series “Norms” Is Now Live!

Watch season 1 of queer webseries Norms.

When I first heard about the web series "Norms," I was immediately intrigued by its premise. The show follows the story of Sara, a 29-year-old queer woman from Reykjavik, Iceland, who finds herself struggling to adjust to life in Berlin, Germany. As a person navigating her way through a new city and coming out process all at once, Sara is constantly questioning her place in the world and searching for a sense of identity. Through Sara's humorous and touching experiences in this unfamiliar setting, "Norms" explores important themes like self-love, personal growth, and love in all its forms.

The Story

Driven by self-destructive impulses, Sara (Marta Sveinbjörnsdóttir) puts everything aside—her career, her relationship with her fiancé, even her own sense of belonging and moves alone to Berlin, “the city for lost souls”, where she tries to redefine herself and start a new life.
