Oklahoma Bathroom Law Hurts Transgender Children And Students
Across the country, there has been an alarming trend of states passing so-called "bathroom bills." These laws force students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that match their gender on their birth certificate, rather than the gender with which they identify. Though the situation for LGBTQ rights is difficult in Oklahoma, advocates are fighting for change. In Arkansas, things are even more challenging, with few legal protections in place. However, progress is being made and we must continue to fight for equality.
