Get ready for "Tampa Baes," an innovative lesbian reality TV series making its debut on Amazon Prime Video this fall. This groundbreaking show takes you on a journey with an energetic group of eight lesbians living in Tampa Bay, Florida. Created by Haley Grable and Brianna Murphy, who aimed to authentically portray their own experiences as lesbians in Florida, "Tampa Baes" promises to offer a fresh, engaging perspective on lesbian reality television.
In 2010, Showtime premiered a new reality TV series called “The Real L Word”. The show was about following the lives of lesbians in Los Angeles. In its third season, The Real L Word also follows a group of lesbians in Brooklyn.
In 2014, a fascinating show called “L Word Mississippi: Hate the Sin” premiered on Showtime. The show focused on various LGBTQ+ people and their lives in the Southeast, including women trying to cope with life and challenges that result from being queer.
We follow different stories such as a former pastor expelled for being openly gay, two interracial couples, a transgender parent-to-be, and an “ex” lesbian trying to “save” her gay son—all of these profiles accurately portray queer life in Mississippi.

Tampa Baes is set to be the next big lesbian reality show on TV after “The Real L Word” and “L Word Mississippi: Hate the Sin”.
Tampa Baes is a new Amazon reality TV series that follows eight “young lesbian ‘it crowd’ navigating and celebrating life in Tampa Bay—Florida’s LGBTQ+ hub and the place to see and be seen.”
“Always ready for an adventure or a good party, this group of loyal friends – and sometimes more than friends – is ambitious and unapologetic while constantly battling stereotypes and labels,” the official synopsis reads. “With all eyes on these fun-loving women at this pivotal moment in their personal and professional lives, there’s not a challenge or hot-button issue they won’t tackle, even if it means getting real with each other.”

The show from 3 Ball Productions stars a truly dynamic and refreshing cast with Ali Myers, Nelly Ramirez, Shiva Pishdad, Jordan Whitley, Marissa Gialousis, Summer Mitchell, Cuppie Bragg, Brianna Murphy, Haley Grable, Melanie Posner, Olivia Mullins, Mack McKenzie.

The show will premiere this Fall on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and India, with a worldwide release to follow.
