Lesbian Literature Festival ReadOut2021 To Be Held On Zoom

Festival on lesbian literature ReadOut2021.

Every year, ReadOut brings the best lesbian authors together, and this year will be no exception.

Organized by the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Library in Gulfport, Florida, lesbian literature festival ReadOut is dedicated to the promotion of literature written by, for and/or about lesbians and for its 4th edition, the festival has invited renowned lesbian authors including Sally Bellerose, Elana Dykewomon, Sheree Greer, Sue Katz, Rose Norman, Jean Redmann, and Susan Stinson.

This year, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the festival will take place virtually via Zoom from February 26 to 28, 2021, and will be free for anyone interested, as the festival is open to an international audience.

ReadOut2021 will consist of 90-minute live-streamed panels on elder lesbian writings, black women writers, mystery, fiction, the intersection of friendship and careers as lesbian authors. There will also be prerecorded readings and chat between sessions with a variety of entertainment featuring lesbian musicians, spoken word artists, and comics.
