ReadOut is a lesbian literature festival, a free event that celebrates the creativity and diversity of lesbian culture by presenting original works and authors with conferences, prerecorded author readings, interactive panels, and workshops that explore themes such as feminism. ReadOut's mission is to showcase literature by, for, and about lesbians.
The ReadOut festival of lesbian literature is back for another session and this year’s keynote speaker will be none other than Michèle Alexandre, the Dean of the College of Law at Stetson University, who’ll give a talk about strengthening lesbian voices through both literature and law.
