Are you ready for one last ride with Devi and her friends?
The highly anticipated fourth and final season of "Never Have I Ever" promises to incorporate a blend of emotions and unexpected twists as the characters navigate through their last year of high school. The finale will reveal how the events of the season will impact their lives forever. This is the chance for you to accompany Devi and her friends on their journey and witness their growth before saying goodbye to them for good.
Co-creators Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher recently announced that the upcoming fourth season of "Never Have I Ever" would also be the last, leaving fans excited and saddened. The creators expressed their enthusiasm for the final season in a statement, promising more steamy romance and hilarious adventures.
"We've just been renewed for a fourth and final season, which we are absolutely thrilled about," their statement reads. "We can't wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you. Thanks to all our fans for your support - especially you #Bevi and #Daxton fans. We love you!"

Kaling also shared her thoughts on the show's duration, stating that four seasons felt appropriate for a high school-centered TV series, allowing for character growth and development while ensuring that the actors remained age appropriate for their roles. Kaling also praised Netflix for providing opportunities to tell stories that might not have been possible with traditional shows. This allowed them to fully explore the story of the show's 15-year-old protagonist.
"Four seasons for a high school show felt like it made sense," she said. "They can't be in high school forever. We've seen those shows. Like you've been in high school for 12 years. What is going on here? Also, the actors get older, and it starts looking insane that a 34-year-old is playing a 15-year-old."
"So there are things that are built into making a show for high school that feel like the right timing," she added. "But we really got to know the characters. What's great about Netflix is we got to tell stories that we might not have been able to tell in traditional shows, and it feels good. We really told the story of this 15-year-old girl, and that felt like the right length."

The final season of "Never Have I Ever" is poised to be one for the books. With new experiences, emotional twists, and unforgettable moments that have made the series such a hit. From college interviews to limousine escapades to unpredictable friendships, Devi and her crew will stop at nothing to achieve everything on their high school bucket list.
"Never Have I Ever" has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and drama from the very first episode, with the tumultuous love triangle between Devi, Ben, and Paxton. The third season only added to the twists and turns with unexpected breakups and reconciliations, even when Devi briefly fell for Des after her breakup with Paxton. The undeniable connection between Devi, Ben, and Paxton persisted, and the emotional speech at the end of the school year, where Payton pays tribute to Devi's impact on his life, served as a poignant reminder of just how deep their bond runs.
Then, as we were left with a cliffhanger at the end of season 3, Devi made some big decisions. These included staying in Sherman Oaks and losing her virginity to Ben. However, it remains unclear whether they actually did it. One thing we do know is that Paxton will remain a central figure in the final season. Series co-creator Lang Fisher reassured fans that the love triangle will continue into season 4 but with a twist.
"That continues into season 4. Anyone who's worried, that's it. It continues. Don't worry. It's for the whole show," Fisher told Tundum.
"I think when they become seniors, and Paxton's gone [to college], everything's shaken up," she explained. "The structure that you've seen for the first three seasons changes, and so the love triangle can reignite again."

The final season of "Never Have I Ever" also promises to be the most intense yet, with Devi and Ben grappling with deep existential questions about their future and identity. According to Lang Fisher, both characters have been tirelessly working towards getting into their desired elite schools. But as they inch closer to their goal, they face a dilemma.
"She and Ben are both laser-focused on these elite schools they want to go to that they've been boring A-students for so long," Fisher explained. "There's a lot to unpack what those things mean in terms of who they are and what their value is relative to the university they're getting into."

You can expect a thought-provoking exploration of what it means to set your sights high and chase after your dreams and whether it's worth sacrificing your sense of self in the process.
Despite the pressure from her mother and the dilemmas related to her friendship with Devi, Fabiola courageously explores different university options. When she realizes Princeton offers an exceptional robotics program, she dares to dream big and ultimately applies. Keeping this secret from Devi tests their friendship, but they reconcile when the truth comes out. Ultimately, Howard University wins Fabiola's heart, as it perfectly aligns with her aspirations and passions.
As viewers, we can't help but feel a sense of disappointment for Aneesa's character in "Never Have I Ever." Despite her initial promise as a feminist icon, the show's writers have relegated her to a peripheral role, serving merely as a backdrop for the other characters' stories.
In season 4, Aneesa is barely given any screen time, appearing only briefly and sporadically. It's a shame that such a promising character has been reduced to a mere afterthought. This is especially true when we consider the powerful messages she could have conveyed had she been given the chance to shine. While other characters receive their moment of glory and deliver inspirational speeches, Aneesa is left to languish in obscurity, dismissed like her voice doesn't matter.
Without further ado, here are the cast members who will return for this ultimate adventure:
It has also been announced that one character, Des, played by Seul Pisharody, won't make a comeback. However, there is some exciting news on the horizon.
Michael Cimino has been making waves in the entertainment industry since his breakout role as Victor in "Love, Victor." Now, Cimino will join the final season of "Never Have I Ever" as Ethan Morales, a charming skater who is sure to catch the eye of our favorite "straight-A dork," Devi.
With his irresistible bad-boy charm, Ethan is set to challenge Devi's hot-headed personality and bring excitement to her senior year at Sherman Oaks High School. But beyond the romance and drama, "Never Have I Ever" has always been a show about self-discovery, and Ethan promises to play a key role in Devi's journey toward self-acceptance. As show creator Lang Fisher has hinted, this season is about Devi learning to love herself for who she is, with or without a perfect boyfriend or a prestigious college education.
"There's something undeniably attractive about a person who doesn't care about the rules," Fisher said at Tudum. "And Ethan finds Devi's hot-headedness quite intriguing. I think the main thing she needs to learn in our show is to love herself as she is, with or without a boyfriend, with or without a fancy college. And that she is enough."
