Sapphic-Inclusive TV Shows Renewed Or Canceled For 2023-2024

TV shows.

This year has been devastating for fans of sapphic TV shows, as many of our favorite series featuring queer women characters were canceled too soon. Fortunately, the recent renewals of many of our favorite shows give us hope they will continue to thrive in the audiovisual landscape for years to come.

Here is the list of cancellations and renewals for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons, so you can know which series will be featured this year and which ones will return next year.

[This list is not complete yet and will be constantly updated throughout the year. If you don’t see your favorite sapphic show, let me know in the comments below and I’d be happy to add it. Thank you for your input!]

We Look Forward To New Shows Being Released In 2023

This year, there have been plenty of disappointments, especially for “Gentleman Jack” and “Warrior Nun,” which both deserve another season.

A question also remains: Why is there no official announcement about “High School” season 2? It’s easy to feel hopeless when this question appears endless, and the more time passes, the less hope there is.

Nevertheless, we have enjoyed some very entertaining brand-new shows such as “Prisma,” “Willow,” “Heartstopper,” “The Last of Us,” and “Gap, The Series,” to name a few.

Now, all that remains is to see what 2023 has in store for us! And get ready, because four brand new lesbian Thai series will be released this year once “Gap, The Series” season 1 ends! So stay tuned!

Just wondering what series you would like to see renewed, or canceled, in 2023?
